After the events that transpired at Calistoga, the race for the championship became very tight , with only eight points separating the three leaders. The only thing to do was to go to Pomona with a positive attitude. This was not a type of track in which I have been dominant in the past, but have done reasonably well on this kind of surface. Qualifying did not go well though. I felt OK, but just did not have the times I wanted. » more

Springfield was great and horrible all in the same weekend. The short track on Saturday was a challenge to say the least. This track has a lot of history as the site of the Knoxville National Sprint Car races. I was here last year for a small exhibition race and it was packed, so I was excited to come back. » more
This was probably the fastest half mile I've ever been on. It was my first time on this track other then walking across it in the mud last year when we got rained out. My day started off a little rocky, we couldn’t figure out the gearing throughout the whole day. The first round of qualifying I felt really fast but something wasn’t right. » more
